Never had a bad experience at this pub, beer selection is good, service always great, many musical events on here and there is a function room upstairs in the hotel area where mini events can be held, such as the mcmilllan coffee afternoon I came for. Set in the Historic Hastings Old Town, it is a stones throw from the beach and many other shops and attractions. Never stayed in their hotel rooms, so cannot comment on that element.

I've upped a star as I totally get the aspirations....so many different beers!Great music! I asked for one cask and one keg. Got two casks. .Both so poorly conditioned I immediately had chronic bloating from the thick opaque yeasty beer (allowing for oat haze...which this was not). If ever there was a lesson in less is more....this is it. Better cellermanship required.

We stayed here while participating in the world crazy golf championship! The rooms had everything we needed, were clean and undisturbed. There is a separate entrance for people staying in the accommodation which meant it was much easier coming and going. The staff were friendly. The bar had a great selection of beverages at good prices. Live music is also a welcome addition.

Lovely pub in the heart of the Old Town. Good selection of beers, that change frequently. Good music (especially Thursday's Sea Shanty Night). And also has several nice outdoor courtyards.

Great Staff, Pub with lots of Ale. - stayed overnight (rm 5) last night (9th) bed a little lumpy but didn't hamper sleep as was knackered from an Archery shoot in Easbourne so slept quite well. Good location in Old Town.

Lovely good size pub, nice selection of beer. The rooms are clean and a good size, unusually loads of useful electric points! Great location and views, will definitely stay there again!

Great pub in the heart of the Hastings Old Town. Regular changing selection of ales on hand pub. Never a bad one. Great bar staff and good for local bands.

Great pub just of the main drag....fantastic array of drinks , regular live bands, Garden & outside the front boozing... great atmosphere when the sun is shining & the alcohol is flowing
